At an elevation of 4,001 feet, Tehachapi’s Municipal Airport is known as the corridor to northern and southern California.

Located south of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tehachapi is an ideal spot to stop not only to fuel, but to enjoy an old-fashioned mountain town with good food and great prices.

Taxiway Relocation and Reconstruction Information

Phase I of construction is set to begin at the end of February, 2022. Phase I will include construction of the west end basin only. Construction will take place in the evening and the runway will be closed to all aircrafts at that time. Please check your NOTAMs before flying.

Hangar Use and Inspection Policy

The Tehachapi Municipal Airport established a hangar use and inspection policy on  March 4, 2019 per requirement from the FAA. The policy was amended on September 16, 2019.
