Jeanette Pauer was appointed to the Tehachapi City Council on August 22, 2023 to fulfill the term of Keith Sackewitz following his resignation.
Pauer most recently served as President of the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of commerce and left the position following 18 months of service. Previously Pauer was both a realtor and the sales manager of Coldwell Banker Best Realty in Tehachapi. She holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree from Ohio State and in 2020 received her Graduate Certification in Real Estate Designation from the National Association of Realtors. Prior to moving to Tehachapi she served as the Assistant Deputy Director of SHUMLA Archeological Research and Education Center in Comstock TX.
Pauer has been very active in Tehachapi, not only serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce, but as a board member for the Tehachapi Arts Commission and a member of the Rotary Club of Tehachapi.
